INFORMATION COLLECTED
CycleCloud collects personal information when you register with CycleCloud, when you use CycleCloud products or services and when you visit CycleCloud pages.
When you register with CycleCloud we ask for personal information including name, password, email and phone numbers. Additionally CycleCloud servers automatically record information such as account activity (e.g., storage usage, number of log-ins, actions taken), data displayed or clicked (e.g., UI elements, links), and other server log information (e.g., browser type, IP address, date and time of access, cookie ID, referrer URL).
CycleCloud uses cookies to improve the quality of our service by storing user preferences and session preferences.
When you send email or other communications to CycleCloud, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.
CycleCloud stores and processes applications and data that is necessary for us to provide this service to you.
INFORMATION USAGE
We use this information internally to deliver the best possible service to you, such as improving the CycleCloud user interface and maintaining a consistent and reliable user experience. Possible uses of this information may include:
- Providing our services to users.
- Auditing, research and analysis in order to maintain, protect and improve our services.

INFORMATION SHARING
We respect your privacy. Any and all information provided by you on the CycleCloud site will be held in strictest confidence. We may share your information with other Cycle Computing business units including CycleServer and CloudFS. We will not release any of your private information to any partners or third-party service providers unless we have your permission or under the following circumstances:
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
- We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of CycleCloud's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide services to you or in order to do their jobs.
We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information about you.
YOUR CHOICES
If we use this information in a manner different than the purpose for which it was collected, then we will ask for your consent prior to such use.
You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some CycleCloud features and services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.
You can decline to submit personal information to any of our services, in which case CycleCloud may not be able to provide those services to you.
CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY
CycleCloud may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the email address specified in your CycleCloud account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
